Dynamics of Drifting Patterns in a Tilted Feedback System

Abstract : Patterns dynamics emerging from a photorefractive system, where tilted single feedback mirror gives rise to an advection-like effect, is studied experimentally. Nonlocal coupling between counterpropagating beams and nonlocal medium response introduce various interesting effects.
