Target classification system based on the characterization of targets by subspaces

Abstract : This paper presents a novel classification technique based on targets bistatic backscattering coefficients acquired at low frequencies. Each target class is characterized by a subspace. Air targets are then classified based on geometrical classification criteria. An average recognition rate of 90% is achieved.
