Estimation de canal MMSE pour la modulation OFDM/OQAM

Abstract : The orthogonal frequency division multiplexing/offset quadrature amplitude modulation (OFDM/OQAM) shows some improvements compared with the OFDM (spectral efficiency, good frequency localization etc.), but requires specific processes at both the transmitter and the receiver side. This paper deals with minimum mean square error (MMSE) channel estimation, when applied to OFDM/OQAM. The theoretical expression of the MMSE estimator in OFDM/OQAM shows its high complexity, due to the intrinsic interferences in filter bank modulations. However, we show that some approximations reduce the formulation of the MMSE estimator to a form close to that in OFDM.
